Service Area Owner – Network Services
Do you want to take ownership of a critical service area and help shape the future of network services within Stena Group IT?
We are now looking for a Service Area Owner – Network Services who will take end-to-end ownership of our Network Services portfolio while leading an international team. This role combines service ownership and people leadership, with responsibility for ensuring that our network services deliver measurable value to the organization — secure, resilient, scalable, and aligned with the needs of the business.
We offer
In this role, you will be accountable for the end-to-end success of Stena Group IT’s Network Services. You will own the full service portfolio, ensuring we deliver the right services at the right level to meet business needs. With a strong focus on performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
You will define and continuously evolve the service vision and roadmap in alignment with business requirements and future demand. By leveraging data, stakeholder feedback, and performance insights, you will drive improvements that ensure our services remain secure, resilient, scalable, and compliant. A key part of the role is balancing value, risk, and cost when prioritizing initiatives and investments across the service lifecycle.
You will also be responsible for financial governance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost transparency, and vendor management — ensuring our partners deliver according to expectations and that we maintain full visibility of service performance and spend.
In addition to service ownership, you will lead and develop our international Network team, with colleagues based in Gothenburg and Wroclaw. You will structure and plan the operational work, follow up on KPIs and SLAs, and ensure we build and maintain the right capabilities to support both current needs and future growth.
About you
You are a collaborative and structured leader who enjoys taking responsibility for both people and services. You create clarity around goals, priorities, and performance while fostering a culture of ownership, engagement, and continuous improvement within your team.
Building strong relationships comes naturally to you. You work confidently with stakeholders across IT and the business, translating needs into clear service priorities and providing transparent reporting on service performance, risks, and improvement initiatives. You are also comfortable working with external partners and suppliers, ensuring accountability and value in the services delivered.
From a professional perspective, you bring several years of experience working with Enterprise Networking, such as LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, cloud networking, remote access, or network security.
You have experience owning or managing a service, platform, or product area and have held a leadership role with operational responsibility. You understand how to balance operational stability with strategic development and continuous service improvement.
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience, and you communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.
