Stena Manning Services AB is looking for motivated and qualified Junior Officers to join Stena Bulk’s Swedish-flagged Suezmax fleet.
The recruitment is carried out jointly by Stena Manning Services AB, a newly established crewing company within Stena based in Gothenburg, and Northern Marine Management Ltd, Stena’s in-house ship management company based in Glasgow. Stena Manning Services AB will be the employer for successful candidates, and the employment will be under Swedish terms and conditions.
Our vessels trade worldwide and are operated by international crews. English is the working and safety language on board, so strong spoken and written English skills are essential.
About the Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for Junior Officers who want to gain further experience on modern tanker vessels within a global, safety-focused organization. The positions are based on four-month tours of duty.
You will work in a multicultural onboard environment with experienced colleagues, where safety, teamwork, continuous training, wellbeing and operational excellence are central to daily operations. The role offers the opportunity to develop professionally and build a long-term career within the Stena Bulk fleet and the Stena Group.

Hold the relevant certificates and qualifications for a Junior Engine Officer position
Have relevant seagoing experience on tanker vessels
Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, environmental responsibility and safe working practices
Work well as part of an international team
Are proactive and willing to contribute to continuous improvement
Are motivated to develop a long-term career within Stena Bulk’s fleet
Essential Certification:
Medical First Aid
STCW Advanced Fire Fighting
STCW Basic Safety Training
STCW Prof. in Basic Oil and Chem Tanker and Cargo Ops
STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boat
STCW Seafarers with Designated Security Duties
STCW Security Awareness
Valid US Visa
