Recruitment of Deck, Engine and Dual Cadets for Stena Rederi A/S Danish Flagged Vessels.

Open internship spots from December 2024 - August 2025.

Successful candidates will spend their internship period on our Danish Flagged Ro-Pax and RoRo vessels, mainly in the Baltic Sea but also in the Mediterranean. 

Onboard cadets are expected to participate under supervision in all duties relevant to their respective department, including but not limited to:

• Assisting in the safe and efficient completion of the duties required by Officers standing work
  routines, planned maintenance jobs, operational duties, general maintenance.
• Carrying out assigned duties as set in the Muster list during any Emergency.
• Assisting in the maintenance of firefighting, safety, and lifesaving equipment.
• Attending all statutory fire and safety drills onboard and to assist in training as required by the Master.
• Become familiar with the ships systems and with the relevant parts, procedures and requirements of the SMS contained within the Docmap system.
• Complete tasks and project work as set out in their Training Record Book.

Furthermore, the company takes the responsibility of following the Training Record Book provided by Maritime School. The cadet will be assigned a designated training officer, who will keep weekly status with the cadet’s progress during the internship.
