About the team
When you join the Stena Bulk A/S team, you join the Products & Chemicals part of an international organisation with offices in six different countries. We are an entrepreneur driven organisation – with a passionate finance team who are responsible for the financial operational aspects of this part of the business. We have a strong focus on how we can use API and robotics to optimize our workflows to generate better data for our AI projects – and you will be a part of this transition. You will report to the Finance Manager in Stena Bulk A/S, Products & Chemicals.

About the position
As our new Financial Controller, you will work together with our experienced financial controllers with:

• Bookkeeping, payments and data collecting from subsidiaries
• When you are ready, you will be responsible for a number of vessels; this will include voyage accounting, correspondence with our operations team, monthly closing etc.
• Other tasks could be preparing financial statements, reporting statistics, calculating administration costs etc.
• To be successful in this position it is important that you feel comfortable with a workday full of vessel accounting, data and process optimisation, international communication and constant change

What we expect

• You have some bookkeeping experience within vessel accounting or an education in accounting/finance – maybe as a finance trainee
• You are smart with data and thrive in a dynamic working environment
• You speak and write English
• You have strong Excel skills, have worked with large ERP and invoicing systems (currently we use Agresso and Palette), you have an interest in API, AI and robotics
• You have an EU citizen work and residence permit
