About the role
As Lead Maritime Optimization Expert, you will take ownership of our vessel optimization algorithms. By developing guidelines and proposing recommendations for future vessel designs, you will foster innovation and enhance sustainability throughout our operations.
Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining advanced vessel optimization algorithms to enhance fuel efficiency, reduce emissions, and optimize voyages. By continuously validating and refining these models to reflect real-world conditions and incorporating operational feedback, you will ensure the highest levels of accuracy and data quality. Leveraging big data analytics, you will identify patterns and uncover opportunities to drive operational improvements across the fleet.
As the go-to expert, you will stay up to date on the latest advancements in naval architecture, propulsion technologies, and renewable energy solutions within the maritime industry. A sharp eye for detail ensures accuracy in models and integrity in data.
You bring at least three years of experience in ship efficiency, voyage optimization, or related fields, supported by a strong background in data analytics and digital transformation.
