A unique opportunity to work in Weihai, China, where Stena RoRo has ordered the construction of totally twelve new RoPax ferries. Nine RoPax ferries have so far been delivered from Shipyard.

We are in an intense phase of the construction process and we are looking for an experienced Marine Engineer Supervisor to support the on-site team. Today we have an on-site team of about 20 people with competencies across various disciplines, such as machinery and systems, navigation and LSA, electrical, structure, coating, outfitting and interiors. You will work as part of the on-site team and your responsibility will be to review drawings and documents related to machinery and systems. You will as well supervise the construction process including FAT’s.

As a Marine Engineer Supervisor, you are an important link between the Client, Shipyard and the on-site team. You will work closely with our other supervisors currently working on-site and you will handle questions and inspections related to machinery and systems. You will report to Site Manager.

About you
You are an experienced Marine Engineer with experience in Senior roles. Perhaps you are in a phase in your career where you want to challenge yourself and are looking to take your knowledge to a new level – to work on-site. Or maybe you have worked on-site before and are looking for a new adventure abroad.

As a person you are driven to solve problems. Your experience helps you see, at an early stage, where and how possible obstacles could appear. You are precise in your work, with a careful attention to detail.

It is beneficial if you have been working on-site in similar role before. It is also important to us that you are a person that fits in well with our organization on-site – for this position we value team fit highly.
